I apologize that it has been so long.  I am back in my craft room preparing for Christmas.  

This is a simple Design I adapted for Christmas.  The musical notes and forest green pines are perfect for this Christmas card. The Peace on Earth is embossed in a rich gold and is popped up off the page for dimension.

If you are in the mid-west as I am you will agree that fall is upon us.  I saw several women wearing boots, which I am thrilled about.  A wardrobe change.

As a result I have been brainstorming Thanksgiving cards.  This is a particularly colorful one that matches the colors that we will all see shortly.  I love the Seasonally Scattered from Stampin Up.

Don't you just LOVE all of the intricate framelits that Stampin Up has come out with!  They are fabulous and can be sure for so many different occasions.  However, this particular design just screens wedding cards to me.

The lower design has a vellum base that is over layed with the black details floral design. The white pulls out and you can write on the inside and the back.

They call it "adult coloring" and it has been so popular.  Stampin Up has made a beautiful leaf that is designed for the use of adult coloring!

It is certainly the pop on this Thinking of You Card.  The white banner that runs the length is pressure embossed. The thinking of you sentiment is white heat embossed.

Can you believe that Fathers Day is just around the corner!  It will be here before we know it. We need to spoil him to show our appreciation for all he does, and has done for us.

I used the hardwood background stamp which was the perfect backdrop, it is simple so it makes the card simple.  Which is perfect for our masculine cards. The anchor pops up for dimension and immediately captures the eye.

I hope that spring is finally springing in your neck of the woods, midwest is still bareing through the cold.  I have a nice clean and simple sympathy card for you today.  What a beautiful flower!  I think this particular stamp is perfect for a heartfelt sympathy card.  The flower and white cardstock are all one piece and is popped up for dimension.  I fussy cut the flower.

I have another challenge card for you, I have been on a kick of these lately as my pintrest ideas are starting to run out.  I like to make every card unique so make the same ones over and over are not nearly as much fun.  Although sometimes my Etsy followers ask for the standard StampinINK favorites.

The gold and black are such a wonderful combination and popular this year.  The Rose Garden framelit is glitter and I added multiple layers to pop it up more off the page.

A Million and One Thanks script is so elegant.  Stampin Up makes some excellent sentiments, this is one of my favorites. The colors are crisp and bold.  The designer series paper is retired and I wish I could get my hands on more.

This was a more challenging PPA292 card sketch.  I flipped it around and boom, found my inspiration.

The intricate butterfly is the star of the card and is only brought out more by the gorgeous grunge design.
