Masculine All Occasion

Masculine All Occasion
My Fellow Stampers!

Fall is officially here.  I love this sponged card because it is vibrate and captures the essence of fall.

Sponging is a lot easier and more forgiving than many different techniques.  I use it often.  Sometimes it is helpful to stamp the ink pad and then sponge once on a scrap paper and then onto your project.  Sometimes the first sponge is too "inky."

Supplies:
Stamps: Definitely Decorative Pines
Tools: White Gel Pen (for the Geese)

Techniques: Sponging
Paper: Basic
Black, Delightful Daffodil

Captain America Shield, Fun Fold Card

Captain America Shield
I wanted to share one of my most popular items from Easy. Our Captain America fans out there love this card.  It is a fun fold card too!

Stampin Up makes a template for this design but I just do it by hand.  I simply score the card at the 4.25 mark for the center fold.  Then again at the 2.125".  You can put your cutting plate rite up to the line that you want to cut but do not go over it and run it once through your Big Shot.  This will only cut on the one side where you had your plate.

Tools: Circle Framelit, Star Framelit

Techniques: Fun Fold Card
Paper: Real Red, Whisper White, Not Quite Navy

Watercolored Thank You

Watercolored Thank You
Hey Stampers!

Sorry its been so long.  I have a gem for you today.  This stamp comes from the You've Got This from SU.  It was watercolored with Elegant Eggplant.

The trick to water coloring is to start at the base and go over the same parts several times to make that darker and then work your way to the top.  This gives a nice shading effect.

The white Matt was pressure embossed and cut out with the label of love framellt.  This was also popped up using dimensionals.

Stamps: You've Got This, Thank You
Tools: Fancy Fan Embossing Folder, Lots of Labels Framelit

Accessories: Ribbon
Techniques: Pressure Embossing

I know that watercoloring can be tricky and sometimes feel very daunting but give it a try!

FMS281 Thank You

FMS281 Thank You
 Hello Stampers :)

I have a card sketch for you today from Freshly Made Sketches.  To see what the others created click here.  These sketches are awesome, and I highly recommend you try it some time.  Even if you do not "enter" them onto their site and just use for ideas.  There are some sketches I use over and over and are just classics.

This particular card had a lot of possibilities.  I thought it screamed for washing tape.

Stamps: MSE Thank You
Tools: Flourish Framelit

Accessories: Silver Button, White Twine, Silver Washi Tape
Paper: Not Quite Navy, Coastal Cabana

I love these colors together.  Coastal Cabana still stands as my all time favorite Stampin Up In-Color from 2013-15.

Batman Punch Art

Batman All Occasion Card
Hello Stampers!

Who needs a really great card for a little boys birthday?!  This is perfect and the good news is  it is very easy to make and requires only a few things!

I love how bold the batman came out.  It took me a few tries to get the batman center just right.  Just keep playing around with it.  I cut out an oval framelit, folded it in half so it was centered and then punched.  I used this as a template and Voila!  Super Cute!  I love the inside too, "you're super".  The You're comes from the Fabulous Four Stamp Set by Stampin Up.

Stamps: Fabulous Four, Letters
Tools: Oval Framelit, Window Punch, Embossing Folder

Techniques: Punch Art
Paper: Basic Gray, Basic
Black, Delightful Daffodil

Script Love Valentine

Happy Valentines Day's...Almost

Can you believe we are already planning for Valentines Day.  I have brought you one of my favorite Valentines cards.  I use the Bokuh technique.

Bokuh:
Step 1: Choose 3 different colors, and scatter the colors throughout the card stock using small daubers.
Step 2: I recommend having a thick piece of cardstock and punch several hearts in varying sizes.  Make sure to leave enough space between hearts.
Step 3: Place the punched card stock on top of your colored piece and begin dabbing with white craft ink.  Be sure to completely cover the heart in white ink.

Tools: Expressions Thinlit, 3 Heart Punch, Full Heart Punch, Heart Framelits, Daubers
Techniques: Bokuh

Thanks for looking!
